Upcoming Drama: Lee Minho will star in K Drama of "City Hunter"!!

"City Hunter" is firstly a Japanese manga comic series by Tsukasa Hojo. It tells about a private detective named Ryo Saeba who works to get rid of crime in the city of Tokyo during the 1980s.

Now, Korean actor Lee Min Hoo has been cast in an upcoming Korean Drama of this Japanese comic "City Hunter" according to the show's PR firm 3HW COM. 3HW declared that Lee Min Ho will be playing the role of Ryo Saeba in the Korean drama version. This will be making it the first time that comic will be turned into a drama.

"Many famous directors and actors requested to remake "City Hunter" but the original author had various demands which halted any productions to be created", an official from the show explained. "However, the author was satisfied with Lee taking on the lead role for the Korean adaptation due to his appeal and energy".

The Korean version of “City Hunter” schedule to air in the first half of next year at Seoul, instead of Tokyo in the 1980s. And will be aired on SBS channel.

This news is revealed by the Committee on Culture, Sports, Tourism, Broadcasting & Communications that 20 Korean songs (could be more) have been set up as plagiarism since 2000, and the royalties earned by total around $1,724,138 USD. 

Jin Sungho, the Committee revealed this news by the Korea Music Copyright Association. The songs accommodate MC Mong’s “Letter to You,” Hyori’s “I’m Back” and “Swing,” Lee Seung Ki’s “Mask,” Son Dambi’s “Saturday Night,” Lee Seung Chul’s “Scream,” CNBlue’s “Loner,” and GDragon’s “Heartbreaker.”.

Jin Sungho went on to state, “To plagiarize is to steal a creation by someone else. It is unjust for royalties to be paid when songs are found to be plagiarized and/or suspected to be plagiarized. We will be aggressively pressing the government offices to create a guideline on plagiarism in order to protect the rights of music producers.”

SHINee to Indonesia for Korea week!!!

After confirmed by arirang, finally SHINee is going to Indonesia. They are going to represent as the Kpop idol around October 10th until 16 October 2010. About 600 peoples who already sent an email to Arirang have confirmed that they got invitation to seat at the front while they're performing (but there'll be further info about this). Not just SHINee's performance, there will be a taste of Korean food festival, job festival and many more.
